Why are my parents picking out who i should hang with?

I have two types of friends, friends that smoke weed and cigs , and goodie good friend , my parents dont get it though , they tuink that sending me to an all private school that ill be good , but there are all places that have good and bad people . Camden doeznt have a town full of ppl . But my parents think thatll ill smoke with the bqd crowd and i wont i told them that numourous times . And like i want a free counsler to talk to this all about but idk any , help asap
